Aquatherm is pleased to announce a restructuring of its Canadian sales organization that will enable the company to more effectively serve the Canadian mechanical and plumbing markets.
Effective immediately, Matt Denny will serve as regional sales manager for the provinces of Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland, New Brunswick and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. Denny has been in the plumbing and HVAC industry for 20 years. Prior to joining Aquatherm in 2014 as regional sales manager for the Midwest and Ohio Valley, he gained sales management experience with Famous Supply and ISCO Industries. Denny possesses a deep knowledge of the heat fusion process and is an excellent trainer. He can be reached at (330) 592-3609 or matt.denny@aquatherm.com.
Larry Hope will continue serving as regional sales manager for the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia, as well as the territories of Nunavut, the Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. Hope has been a part of the plumbing and heating wholesale industry for almost 20 years at the Red Deer, AB, branches of Crane Supply and the Westlund division of EMCO Corp. The Alberta native joined Aquatherm in 2017. He can be reached at (403) 318-9584 or larry.hope@aquatherm.com.
Denny and Hope will be assisted by Glen Miller, vice president and director of sales for both Canada and the United States. Miller has three decades of experience with plumbing and HVAC manufacturers and wholesale distribution with industry leaders such as Morrison Supply, Coburn Supply, Tyco Valves & Controls/Grinnell and NIBCO. He has served as Aquatherm’s vice president and director of sales since 2015. He can be reached at (469) 387-6132 or glen.miller@aquatherm.com.
“This reorganization will help our entire Canadian team in its mission of supporting and educating mechanical contractors, plumbing contractors, and specifying engineers on the benefits of our polypropylene piping systems,” said Miller. “Canada was our first market in North America and we intend to continue to be the nation’s first choice for advanced piping systems by providing the industry’s finest products and unparalleled customer service.”
Aquatherm was founded in 1973 in Germany. After thousands of successful installations in Europe, Aquatherm entered the Canadian market in 2009. Since then, Aquatherm polypropylene pipe has been selected as a lightweight, non-corroding alternative to steel and copper pipe in hundreds of HVAC and plumbing applications across North America.
