Doug Young, CEO of Behler-Young, announced that Dave DeJonge was promoted to the position of chief operating officer (COO) with full responsibility of the company.
“As our company grows and changes, it is important to periodically evaluate our structure to insure that it best supports the business," said Young. "Our key goals continue to be to strengthening our business and providing superior customer service to our HVAC/R contractor base.”
DeJonge was previously the vice president of finance and chief financial officer for Behler-Young for six years where he provided direct leadership and integration to accounting, information technology, credit facilities, inventory, purchasing, pricing and the corporate distribution center. Prior, he spent 10 years as the vice president of finance and treasurer at S2 Yachts.
Young will continue as CEO of Behler-Young and be involved in the oversight of the business. He will spend more time in the field with customers and Behler-Young’s field associates.
Behler-Young is a third generation family-owned business that represents hundreds of manufacturers and serves thousands of customers throughout Michigan and Northwest Ohio through 18 branches and a 140,000-square-foot distribution center in Kensington Park, Michigan.
