Thomas Dougherty has been named president of bluefrog Plumbing + Drain. Dougherty was previously vice president of sales/training for both bluefrog and sister company Restoration 1, both based in Waco, Texas. In his new role, Dougherty will oversee bluefrog’s ongoing operations and procedures as the fast-growing brand continues to expand into new markets across the United States.

“Thomas has more than 25 years of experience in the Home Service industry and a proven track record of helping companies grow profitably through effective systems and strategies,” said Gary Findley, CEO of Restoration 1 and bluefrog Plumbing + Drain. “As we continue to expand at a rapid pace, Dougherty will play a key role in positioning bluefrog as a leader in the plumbing industry.”

Dougherty’s varied background includes service professional experience in carpet cleaning, pest control, restoration and heating and air conditioning with a focus in sales management, coaching and training.

“When it comes to the service industry, I believe the proper focus is on people, process, productivity and in that order,” said Dougherty. “I plan to bring that same focus to bluefrog in my new role. I look forward to serving the brand in a new way as we continue to expand our services nationwide.”

Dougherty is currently based in Austin, Texas. In his free time, he spends time with his family and cheers on his favorite college football team, the Texas Longhorns.
