Chicago Tube and Iron Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Melissa Conner to corporate credit manager. Before being promoted to assistant credit manager earlier this year, Conner worked in the company's credit department for 10 years as a senior credit analyst, first joining Chicago Tube in August 2008. All told, Conner has over twenty years of credit experience that includes previous employment with Daimler-Chrysler, Windy City Wire, and Kraus Floors.
Conner holds an associate’s degree in management and marketing from the College of DuPage and is currently working toward her bachelor’s degree in business management at Rasmussen College. Earlier this year, Conner achieved her Credit Business Associate (CBA) certification administered through the National Association of Credit Management, and she plans to sit for the Certified Credit Executive (CCE) exam next year.
