AD will host finance and HR decision makers and rising stars from independent distributors across North America at the first ever combined Finance & HR Summit, May 22-24, Denver.
The 2018 AD Finance & HR Summit agenda was developed in collaboration with AD members and is constructed so attendees can seamlessly attend the events that are of interest to them, without needing to choose a Finance or HR-specific path.
When asked why members should attend the Summit, Neil Cohen, AD’s VP of Organizational Development and Human Resources shared, “There are some key differences between The 2018 Finance & HR Summit and other conferences available to HR leaders. First, the Summit is specific for independent distributors in the construction and industrial supply space; participants will be able to network and best practice share with leaders at other companies who are facing similar obstacles. Secondly, the agenda was created by members for members; the topics are strategic and are what our members want to focus on the most. Lastly, attendees will be able to cover a lot of ground in a relatively short timeframe and walk away with practical information they can immediately apply at their companies.”
Drew Moyer, AD’s CFO, added: “Our past Finance and HR Summits have consistently received high ratings from participants for content that is highly relevant and immediately actionable within their own companies. The ability to learn from executives at similar companies, to exchange ideas and to discuss common challenges, is invaluable. The combination of the Finance and HR Summits this year will further improve the usefulness of the Summit, particularly when it comes to shared objectives of both functions in areas such as Leadership and Risk Management.”
The AD Finance & HR Summit is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy for up to 10 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credits for CPAs. In addition, this program is valid for 10.5 PDCs towards SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification. This program has also been submitted to the HR Certification Institute for review.
