The National Fire Protection Association has announced that for the safety of its members and conference-goers it is canceling its 2021 NFPA Conference & Expo. The association said that it will hold its 2022 Conference & Expo in Boston as planned. In place of the 2021 event, NFPA is creating a new, virtual learning experience as part of its celebration of its 125th anniversary this year.
“We pride ourselves on a safe, world-class experience for all our attendees, and there are too many unknowns to push forward with an event where we could not provide a safe environment for all,” NFPA President Jim Pauley said about the creation of the Conference Series.
