NFPA Launches Conference Series in Lieu of Live Event
The National Fire Protection Association has announced that for the safety of its members and conference-goers it is canceling its 2021 NFPA Conference & Expo. The association said that it will hold its 2022 Conference & Expo in Boston as planned. In place of the 2021 event, NFPA is creating a new, virtual learning experience as part of its celebration of its 125th anniversary this year.
“We pride ourselves on a safe, world-class experience for all our attendees, and there are too many unknowns to push forward with an event where we could not provide a safe environment for all,” NFPA President Jim Pauley said about the creation of the Conference Series.
Conference Series
NFPA is reimagining the conference and working to make each and every aspect robust, in-depth, and personal. It will be a continuous lineup of comprehensive education sessions and innovative elements that will include:
- Education series throughout the entire year to keep the celebration and education going
- Targeted virtual events to focus on individual audiences and individual areas of expertise
