Investing in the pipeline of fostering new talent to the PVF industry, Wolseley Industrial Group, a division of Ferguson Enterprises, a quality supplier of industrial pipe, valves and fittings (PVF) and industrial services to the North American industrial market, has committed a $25,000 donation to be made this year to the PVF Roundtable Charitable Foundation.
The PVF Roundtable is an organization of industry professionals in the pipe, valve and fitting industry. Its focus is to provide a forum for creating awareness for industry issues and trends and provide networking opportunities to strengthen the channel. The Roundtable, a 501c3 non-profit organization, prepares for the future of the industry by raising funds for educational and training institutes to encourage growth of the PVF field. The PVF Roundtable is close to hitting its goal of cumulative donations to the scholarship fund of over $1,000,000.
Joe Costanzo, Chemical & Manufacturing Business Development Manager, Wolseley Industrial Group, as well as the VP and board member of the PVF Roundtable, announced the commitment today. “We are excited to be able to help invest funds in the PVF channel. Thank you notes that are sent from scholarship recipients really drive home how each dollar can make a big difference in these young lives, as well as helping our great industry."
This is not the first donation from Ferguson Enterprises Inc. and the Wolseley group. They have a long commitment of raising awareness and donating funds to the PHCP-PVF channel. As a believer in continually enriching the growth of the industry, last year the company committed over $200,000 to the channel.
