The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is leading the way with innovative industry programming at the 2019 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), South Hall Lobby, Booth SL002. The society will showcase the impact of design through an exciting new installation custom designed by Elizabeth von Lehe, Allied ASID, design and brand strategy principal, HDR.
“Celebrating the powerful impact of design is critical to the profession,” said von Lehe. “I’m honored to be able to put those words into action through this space, offering inspiration and a place to meet, greet, and mingle with fellow industry members.”
The ASID installation will serve as an oasis that invites visitors to engage, ask broad questions, and explore the beautiful, impactful, and often surprising ways that design impacts lives. Set in the south lobby of the show, it will also act as a learning lounge for those in attendance. The design features multimedia components that support personal well-being and humancentric design philosophies. By offering resources and creating a platform for conversation, ASID will enhance visitors’ experiences and understanding of the many opportunities impactful design presents.
Elizabeth von Lehe has previously worked with ASID, designing their “Design Impacts Lives” lounge at NeoCon 2017.
“Elizabeth has been a stalwart supporter of the ASID message," said Randy Fiser, Hon. FASID, ASID CEO. "We’re thrilled to engage her creative vision and are excited to see how designers can interact with and learn from the space.”
