The Builders League of South Jersey announced the 2018 Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence (MAME) Award winners on November 14, 2018, at Lucien's Manor in Berlin, New Jersey. Ace Plumbing, Heating, and Electrical Supplies was recognized with four MAME Awards for excellence and innovation in marketing.
The honors include Best Black and White Logo (EDGE); Best Marketing/Branding Campaign (A.O.Smith); Best Color Logo (Ace Your Space); and Best Special Event or Promotion (Contractor's EDGE). Ace Marketing Director Michele Low and Media Arts Technician Chuck Schaser accepted the awards.
Established in 1985, the MAME Awards program awards league members for superior work in customer service, design, building, merchandising and the most creative advertising and marketing efforts used to promote southern New Jersey’s newest neighborhoods and remodeling projects. These prestigious awards are given to builders, developers, remodelers and associates who have made significant creative residential contributions.
The league also recognized Low with the Marketing Director of the Year Award. In her two-year tenure at Ace, Low has developed a company mascot, held over 182 promotional events, helped create, develop, and implement the Contractor’s Edge Rewards Program, and implemented a highly successful Contractor Training and Continuing Education program. She serves as a liaison between the company’s main branch and other six locations, especially by promoting new product lines. Low also facilitated and coordinated Ace's first ever Vineland Christmas parade float, a 25-foot-long, 8-foot-high toilet, which garnered much praise from the parade committee for originality. She hosts the company's radio program as well, “Ace Your Space,” on WVLT 92.1 FM.
"Michele has been an innovative leader in promoting our business to a level far exceeding my expectations," said Ace General Manager John Sperratore.
