The National Association of Oil & Energy Service Professionals is again inviting students planning to continue their education in the energy industry to apply for a Dave Nelsen Scholarship.

There will be a minimum of three $5000 awards.  The deadline for receipt of a written essay is March 24, 2016.  The theme of the essay is more personal.  The judges wish to learn more about the applicant.  They are interested in their background and how that has prepared him or her for success in their chosen field of energy.  And, they'd like the applicants to stretch a bit and tell them where they see themselves in the next 5-10 years.
