Bertch Cabinet Manufacturing has been selected as the newest kitchen cabinet vendor partner of Luxury Products Group. The Waterloo, Iowa-based company has been family owned and operated since 1977, and it is a true American success story.
With its roots taking hold four decades ago in a converted family barn, Bertch is dedicated to the art of traditional cabinetmaking, and uses only the finest wood, furniture joints and exceptional finishes to create distinct products for the home and hospitality industry. All of its products reflect a commitment to reforestation, recycling and a general respect for the environment. Owner Gary Bertch is fond of saying, “Although this seems to be just a drawer box, each one needs to be the best drawer box you can build.”
Luxury Products Group is comprised of more than 250 member showrooms throughout North America that offer premier luxury bath and kitchen products, hardware, lighting and appliances. The group has experienced tremendous gains and launched numerous new member programs and benefits in the last 12 months. The addition of Bertch cabinetry is the next step in providing LPG showrooms with complete kitchen offerings.
“This is such an exciting time for our membership,” said Director Jeff MacDowell. “We are committed to partnering with the highest-quality vendor partners. These are the type of products that enable our members to create the experiential shopping experience today’s consumers demand. The offerings we provide our members are unique in our industry and really set our members apart.”
Bertch is a totally integrated manufacturer, producing virtually all components in-house. It has more than 1 million square feet of manufacturing space, filled with state-of-the-art design and equipment — and a workforce of more than 800 who possess a solid Midwestern work ethic and pride in the products they produce. Bertch manufactures a broad spectrum of stock, custom, framed and frameless construction in both wood and laminate cabinetry for the home. Bertch also delivers all of its product across the U.S. with its own fleet of air-ride trailers.
“We make the best cabinets in the business,” said Bertch Business Development Manager Jason Franck. “Our products are designed and built to last for decades. Bertch is a family owned business, much like LPG showrooms. Our owner is typically in his office before I am, and still there when I leave at night. He sets a great example for our entire team. Many employees have been here for multiple decades, which I think speaks volume about our leadership and the type of environment they’ve created. I feel confident that we can provide a quality product for LPG members that will help them increase sales, and in turn Bertch’s sales as well.”
Bertch is highly regarded for its corporate commitment to quality, community and environment. Over the years, Bertch has distributed tens of thousands of trees to associates and school children as part of an ongoing reforestation effort. Bertch also partners with surrounding school communities to promote and educate future generations in reforestation, recycling and general respect for the environment.
LPG will be hosting its Annual Showplace Expo January 23-25 at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida. Bertch, along with all of LPG’s approved vendors, will be on hand to meet with LPG showroom owners and staff to discuss plans and programs for the year ahead.
