The members of the ASA Women in Industry Executive Council are excited to announce a new award program with the goal of recognizing women in the PHCP/PVF industry who have record of significant accomplishment and embody the character of the late Alice Martin. In this inaugural year for the award, nominations will be sought by both the ASA membership, however self-nominations are highly encouraged.
The council would like to honor the legacy of Alice Martin, who has been active in ASA’s Women in Industry Division since its inception. Alice had been with NIBCO since 1984, serving in a variety of roles. She served as the president and co-founder of the Rex and Alice A. Martin Foundation, a charitable foundation headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana which donates to major projects for children. She has served on over 30 local, regional and state charitable boards of directors and has been honored many times for her leadership and philanthropy. A champion of women's rights, Alice also founded the Women's Leadership Group at NIBCO.
