LimRic Plumbing, Heating & Air is a South Carolina-based company that awards $500 to two local nonprofits every month through its “Give Back Grant.” The company launched the grant in 2016 as a demonstration of “LimRic Pride.”

By the end of 2018, LimRic will have donated $12,000 for the year, not including additional funds and time often raised by its employees. Through the company’s monetary support and community involvement, it has helped feed families on Thanksgiving, provide Christmas gifts to children who have lost parents, support cancer survivors in their recoveries, provide diapers to in-need families, invest in local libraries, support classroom mentorship and garden programs, give back to veterans and more. The company has also recently volunteered and participated in fundraisers through the Charleston Basket Brigade and the Ronald McDonald House "Plane Pull" event.

Beyond providing financial support, the LimRic team also values giving back personally, which is why employees have donated countless hours to volunteering in the communities they call home. Supporting the local community is a part of LimRic, and it always will be. The company looks forward to continuing, and hopefully expanding, its philanthropic efforts in years to come.
