The Unified Group, an association of the independent HVAC commercial contractors, presented A&G Piping with its 2018 Making The Difference Award.

Bobby Grimes, president of A&G Piping, received the award during the association’s Annual Meeting and Owners’ Forum in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, held Nov. 7 -11.

Each year, the award is given to a member company that embodies The Unified Group’s core goals of assisting the membership in growing their businesses and improving their bottom line profits, raising the level of excellence in the HVAC industry, providing members with the opportunity for continued improvement in all aspects of their businesses and sharing best practices.

A&G Piping was recognized for hosting a tour of its facility during the association’s Safety Director’s Forum earlier this year, attending five training sessions, helping plan sessions and facilitating discussion while attending. A&G’s entire team has become an invaluable resource to other members of The Unified Group by sharing proven methods intended to help others and giving input to help improve the group. They have also sent many member referrals and have implemented a number of important takeaways learned at the association’s sessions.

The company was also recently recognized in the Fort Worth Business Press article, ‘Why I Love To Work Here,’ and is one of the Top 100 privately held companies in Fort Worth, Texas.
