Benoist Brothers Supply Company, a wholesale HVAC distributor headquartered in Fenton, Missouri and Mount Vernon, Illinois announced today that it has acquired NuComfort Supply, a wholesale HVAC distributor headquartered in Glendale Heights, Illinois.
The three NuComfort branches will continue to operate under the NuComfort brand as a subsidiary of Benoist Brothers. Leaders from both companies issued the following statements regarding the acquisition:
“Benoist Brothers Supply Company is very excited to have NuComfort join the Benoist family. Both companies are leading wholesalers of the best HVAC equipment in the industry today through our relationship with Rheem Manufacturing Company and the Ruud brand. Like the Benoists, NuComfort owner Marty Nuzik has built a company with a culture of customer service and family that is second to none. We are very excited that he has agreed to stay and run NuComfort, and I am looking forward to sharing best practices as we continue to grow the combined businesses together,” said CEO of Benoist Brothers Supply Company Peter Warren.
“NuComfort has the best employees in the HVAC industry. When we were approached by Benoist Brothers Supply Company, we needed to make sure we would have the right cultural fit. Benoist has always had a reputation for taking great care of its employees and customers. I believe that both organizations will be better together, and I look forward to being a part of it,” said Founder and Owner of NuComfort Supply Marty Nuzik.
“Benoist Brothers Supply Company is celebrating its 90th year in business this year! Benoist Brothers has always been about family: not just the Benoists, but the families of our employees, our customers, and our partners since our start in 1928. We could not have made it this far without a very strong commitment to family. NuComfort embodies these same values, and we could not be happier to have their families join ours moving forward," said Chairman of the Benoist Brothers Supply Company Board of Directors Matt Benoist.
