The American Society of Plumbing Engineers s pleased to announce that the Delta brand has agreed to be the Exclusive Sponsor of the Women of ASPE for the third year. The contract was signed during the 2018 WOA Leadership Forum in Atlanta by Sarah A. Balz, PE, CPD, GPD, LEED AP, Chair of WOA, and Jason Gonzalez, senior director, commercial sales for Delta Faucet Co.
"Strong women and women leaders are the core of who we are as humans," Gonzalez said. "Women of ASPE represents what we can aspire to be in an industry that needs it. We need more diversity, more inclusion, more openness and opportunity. We're excited to be a small part of that growth."
ASPE created WOA in 2015 to engage, retain and advance women in the plumbing design industry through education, leadership development and networking opportunities. The group is committed to bringing women together and assisting them in achieving their professional and personal goals.
Delta began its sponsorship of WOA in July 2016
"Delta's initiative in creating and promoting women leaders in its organization aligns with the mission of WOA to encourage opportunities for women in the plumbing design industry, and we are proud to continue our partnership with such a forward-thinking and innovative company," said Brian Henry, ASPE's Director of Affiliate Relations.
