MIFAB has announced a 68,000-square-foot expansion to its Chicago headquarters. The expansion will increase the building's square footage from its current 60,000 square feet to 128,000 square feet and will include four new shipping bays as well as additional room for inventory.
The company says it needs more room for inventory due to an increase in sales over the last two years in all its product categories including the SuperMax. The company is also anticipating additional inventory space requirements for its new Quick Hub coupling line as well as its new Barracuda USC-approved stainless steel backflow line. Both lines are being rolled out next year.
Ground breaking is scheduled for spring of 2019 with anticipated completion by fall of 2019.
