Rinnai Corp. announced a strategic partnership with BIMsmith, a cloud-based design tool that allows architects, engineers and designers to create system family components for the building design software application, Autodesk Revit.

To kick off the partnership, Rinnai has released a comprehensive library of more than 100 data-rich models of its tankless water heaters, rack systems, boilers and accessories.

These models can now be used by architects and building designers as they concept new building designs to specify Rinnai product.

Each 3D model contains intelligent product data that offers information on multiple phases of a building’s life cycle, from design to construction to maintenance, and every model can be integrated directly into the user’s Revit building designs. This speeds up the process and gives architects and building designers a fast and reliable way to leverage Rinnai’s products for their building designs.
