Elkay recently promoted Ted Hamilton to president, Elkay Plumbing. Hamilton's long tenure with the company and deep understanding of the market along with the diversity of roles and experiences he has held within Elkay make him ideally suited to fulfill this broad strategic role within the company.
"Ted has been a strong, strategic force within Elkay for many years," said Elkay president and CEO, Tim Jahnke. "He is a dynamic thought leader with tremendous followership among our employees, and he has led our plumbing marketing efforts through some of the strongest periods of growth in our company's history. As a member of the founding family, Ted has had uniquely well-rounded experience across multiple functions within the business. He has made a measurable impact as he has stepped into this critical senior-level leadership role."
In related news, Elkay recently added Franco Savoni to the senior leadership team. The promotion follows a change in the fall of 2017, which included bringing Elkay's international plumbing business under Savoni’s leadership. In recognition of this significant expansion of his role, Savoni was promoted to executive vice president, Elkay Plumbing.
Elkay announced that Bryan English, vice president of corporate finance, will join the company's senior leadership team, reporting to John Pendergast, chief financial officer.
In his expanded leadership capacity, English will focus on leading the Finance function and building capabilities to support Elkay's global growth strategies, facilitating company-wide strategic financial planning and forecasting in support of company investment decisions, and coordinating strategy creation and review with the board of directors.
