HB McClure Co., LLC, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania announced the acquisition of Accu-Aire Mechanical Services, Inc., a commercial HVAC contractor, based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, along with its engineering division, MMG Engineering Inc.
According to Jim Saussaman, president of HB McClure, the merger with Accu-Aire is a big step in the company’s long-term growth strategy.
“We already serve many Lancaster county clients, and this now gives us an opportunity to enhance that offering even more with a fully-staffed, ‘brick and mortar’ presence in West Hempfield Township,” Saussaman said. “We welcome the mechanical system design/build and technical service skill-sets that the Accu-Aire team brings to the table.”
Accu-Aire was founded in 1994 and has extensive experience in the design, construction, renovation and servicing of commercial HVAC systems throughout Central Pennsylvania. In addition, Accu-Aire provides preventative maintenance for numerous commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities in the region.
MMG Engineering was founded in 2009 to provide quality HVAC, electrical and plumbing design services to architects, owners and contractors.
The company also announced the acquisition of BBEC Inc., an electrical contractor based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
Established in 1984, BBEC has been serving the electrical construction and service needs of commercial clients for 34 years. The company has expertise in lighting and power distribution as well as communication/data/alarm systems.
“We’ve worked closely with BBEC on many projects over the years, and we see this arrangement as a great way to enhance our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing offerings to our commercial and industrial clients for both service and construction needs,” Saussaman said. “BBEC’s electrical design/build capabilities will dovetail nicely with our own PHVAC design/build approach.”
