Plumbing Engineer magazine is soliciting nominations for professional engineers in their twenties who have achieved notable success in their respective field(s). This editorial feature, which is set to appear in the September 2018 issue, will recognize plumbing engineers/designers who are moving their respective companies, industries, and communities forward.
There’s been much talk about recruiting the younger generation into our industry, and I couldn’t agree more. But it is equally important to recognize the young emerging leaders who have already made that choice, and who are contributing to the work we do. We would like to honor these individuals by sharing their stories and love of industry.
Help us honor those who are working in the spirit of promoting the plumbing engineering and design industry and nominate someone today!
Here's what we're looking for in our nominees: the brightest minds between the ages of 20 and 29 who are taking the plumbing industry into the future. We’re looking for individuals who are proactive, imaginative, resourceful, and dedicated. When thinking of who to nominate, ask yourself, “Has this person met challenges head on and come up with out-of-the box solutions?” “Is this person involved with community outreach programs and philanthropic activities?” “Is this person involved with industry initiatives and organizations?” “Is this person a rising star?”
If you'd like to nominate someone to be on the list, reach out Sharon Rehana no later than Monday, June 4, 2018, and include in the email the person’s name, contact information and a very brief (50 to 100 words) reason why you think they should be considered.
If you are nominating yourself, please include responses to these initial questions.
