The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors of Texas honored Dickie McCurdy, president of MMM Plumbing, Heating and AC, Amarillo, Texas, with its 2018 Spirit of Texas Award.
The association does not give the award every year, but only when deserved. McCurdy received the award at the trade group’s annual business meeting, May 5, for his services in going above and beyond to resolve a business-related issues within the association.
McCurdy, a long-time member and board member, was present for every meeting, conference call, legal discussion and more on behalf of the members of PHCC Texas.
“I was surprised and honored to receive the Spirit of Texas award,” McCurdy said. “I love serving my industry and making it better for the next generation.”
McCurdy is the president of MMM Plumbing, Heating and AC in, and a long-time member and board member of the PHCC Texas. He believes PHCC Texas should stand at the forefront of industry changes, updates or expansions as well as fight diligently to bring about fair business practices, an open environment for growth, and ongoing protection for the occupational licensees they serve.
