CIPH President and General Manager Ralph Suppa has named Akshay Sharma as company’s new program manager for the Plumbing and Mechanical Advisory Council (PMAC). Akshay will assist in managing, coordinating, planning and providing support to the Council on projects that will further the goals, mission and the strategic directions of the Council and of the association.
“We are delighted to have Akshay join the CIPH team. With his research experience in fluid flow analysis and a strong grasp in data interpretation and visualization, he brings a contemporary approach to CIPH combined with a solid education provided by Seneca College," said CIPH President and General Manager Ralph Suppa.
Some of the main purposes of the PMAC is to: promote uniformity in Canadian plumbing codes, regulations and standards; ensure that any deviations from uniformity are necessary; and inform, educate and lobby as necessary to achieve uniformity
Akshay is a chemical engineering graduate with a Graduate Certificate in Energy Management from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. He recently received his Certified Associate in Project Management certification (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute.
