Current Owner and CEO of Northeastern Supply, Steve Cook, announced that he is relinquishing his role as President and will continue solely as the CEO. Cook served as President for over 31 years at the privately held Baltimore-based company.
Industry veteran Stan Allen has been appointed as the president of Northeastern. Allen brings with him over 30 years of experience in the plumbing wholesale distribution supply industry, most recently serving as President of Morrison Supply.
“We are a young thinking, aggressive company, constantly striving to improve,” said Cook. “I felt in my heart that we needed a President who will push us harder and make us better on a day-to-day basis; some fresh blood, fresh enthusiasm and fresh ideas. This move also positions us to remain family owned, operating with the same family values we have always adhered to.”
“I am extremely humbled and excited to join the team at Northeastern,” said Allen. “There is a long history of success that has been built on a foundation of hard work, developing strong relationships and doing whatever it takes to be our customers’ preferred supplier. We want to continue to build on our history and tap into our full potential.”
