The ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) Plumbing, Mechanical and Fuel Gas (PMG) Listing Program issued its first listing report (PMG-1457) with the WaterSense certification for spray sprinkler bodies to Hunter Industries.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) WaterSense program, a voluntary public-private partnership that offers a way for consumers to identify water-efficient products, has helped American families conserve 2.1 trillion gallons of water and save more than $46.3 billion in water and energy bills between 2006 and 2016.
The ICC-ES listing report verifies that Hunter’s Pro-Spray PRS30 and Pro-Spray PRS40 Series comply with WaterSense specifications. Hunter’s 4-, 6- and 12-inch pressure regulated pop-up sprays are designed for commercial or residential projects. The test procedure for the certification is based on the Landscape Irrigation Sprinkler and Emitter Standard ASABE/ICC 802-2014.
“We are pleased to add the WaterSense certification listing to our broad range of products and services,” said ICC-ES PMG Director of Standards Maribel Campos. “We continue to be at the forefront of the industry in providing listings for innovative, efficient technologies, giving manufacturers piece of mind and saving them time and money.”
