Kohler Co., a designer of kitchen and bath products, has been named a CES 2018 Innovation Awards Honoree for its new Verdera Voice Lighted Mirror. Judged by a panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the trade media, the awards honor outstanding design and engineering in 28 product categories.
Kohler’s Verdera Voice Lighted Mirror is the first announced bathroom mirror that has Amazon Alexa built-in. Users can reduce countertop clutter and streamline voice capabilities within the bathroom space thanks to the ability to pair other Kohler products up with the mirror.
“We are excited to make our company debut at CES this year and to receive this honor from the Consumer Technology Association in recognition of our vision for the connected bathroom,” said Shane Judd, Kohler Co. vice president of Marketing. “Innovation has been in our DNA from the beginning, and through our long history we have found new ways to provide our customers with greater comfort, control and efficiency in the bathroom. As technologies continue to evolve, Kohler will continue to be on the forefront to help personalize our customer experiences.”
The CES Innovation Awards are sponsored by the Consumer Technology Association, the owner and producer of CES 2018.
In addition to showcasing Verdera Voice Lighted Mirror, Kohler will debut a collection of smart home kitchen and bath products that will be displayed at CES 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
