World Vision will host the 18th Annual Crystal Vision Award Breakfast, Jan. 10 at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando. The event will take place during Design & Construction Week.
Each year World Vision celebrates and honors its relationships with building material manufacturers, retailers, and wholesalers who support its building material program. They donate excess inventory to help families in the U.S. refurbish and rebuild during financial crises and following natural disasters.
Each year three awards are presented:
The Crystal Vision Award honors a manufacturing company that has supported World Vision’s Storehouse program with consistent and significant product donations. This year the award will be presented to Owens Corning. Owens Corning has been a huge donor of building material products, a cash grant for insulation installation equipment, and kit team building events.
The Partnership Award is being presented to American Architectural Manufacturers Association this year. AAMA has consistently partnered with World Vision Storehouse program to promote the Crystal Vision event and the Storehouse program within the building materials industry.
The Lifetime Achievement Award is given to an individual who has consistently supported the Crystal Vision Event and the Storehouse program with annual participation. This individual also promotes the program within the industry and helps open doors to product donations and participation by new companies and key industry leaders. Kendrick Reaves, Vice President of Sales for Reliance Worldwide, will be honored with the award.
Jim Inglis, President of Inglis Retailing, will emcee the program.
Ben Bazin, President and CEO of CertianTeed will be this year’s keynote speaker.
