NetPlus Alliance, a national buying group with more than 390 industrial and contractor supplies distributor members, recently celebrated the opening of its new Lockport headquarters.

NetPlus started in the 1800s as Ward Brothers, a machine shop that operated for a time out of the same building along the Erie Canal. NetPlus’s new building is also the original site of Harrison Radiator, which comprised 30 percent of Ward Brothers’s business.

“Old and new come together with this move,” said Jennifer Murphy, president of NetPlus Alliance. “The historic former manufacturing building has been fully restored by a respected WNY developer, and converted into an open-concept office space to facilitate collaboration and accommodate our growing team.”

At the celebration, NetPlus Alliance welcomed distributor and preferred supplier members from across the country, as well as members of the Lockport community, as they cut the ribbon to the new space.
