The Aurora, Ohio-based Luxury Products Group has named Jeff MacDowell its director.
LPG was created in 2009 by the members of Omni Corporate Services as the avenue for members to network with like-minded people sharing ideas and challenges to expand their showroom business, as well as an opportunity to buy from and see products from a variety of showroom-oriented vendors worldwide.
“We’re excited to have Jeff at the helm of LPG, supporting strategic growth and vision of our member- showrooms and vendors,” said John Aykroyd, president of Omni Corporate Services, LPG’s parent company. “His passion for coaching showrooms on experiential shopping, marketing and the industry brings a new level of talent to our group.”
MacDowell, a 25-year industry veteran, has held senior management positions for companies including Frank Webb Home, the bath, kitchen and lighting showroom division of F.W. Webb Co., APR Supply, and was formerly the president of the Susquehanna, Pa. chapter of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). He also was on the board of the Decorative Products Division of the AD buying group.
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., MacDowell resides near Philadelphia and enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking, fishing, and has two daughters.
