The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials is accepting applications and seeking technical experts to participate on a task group relating to factory-made air ducts.
The scope of the Factory-Made Duct Task Group is to review how the term “factory-made air ducts” is referenced throughout the Uniform Mechanical Code and to review products that fall under this category. The objective is to provide an in-depth analysis and develop recommendations for the UMC Technical Committee for consideration.
Task group members will participate via conference call or web meeting, provide their perspective on the code, and assist in drafting recommendations for action by the UMC Technical Committee’s consideration. Applicants are not required to be members of the UMC Technical Committee.
