Andrew F. Henry, Jr., senior vice president and chief financial officer for HB McClure LLC, will retire after 34 years with the company. He will remain active as CFO until October of 2017, after which he will continue part-time with HB McClure as a consultant to the executive team.
Henry joined HB McClure in 1983 and has held many positions, including service billing and dispatch, fuel oil accounting and IT. He began his first leadership role in 1985 as credit manager, and in 1988 he became corporate controller, a position he held until being appointed CFO in 2005.
Under Henry’s financial guidance, HB McClure experienced double-digit annual growth and helped with guiding the company’s transition to an employee stock option plan (ESOP) in 2010.
“Andy’s combination of financial expertise and leadership skills has been a vital part of our executive team and the company as a whole,” said Robert Whalen, HB McClure president and CEO. “His 34 years of hard work and dedication to the company will always be remembered and valued by our employee-owners.”
