HD Supply Waterworks announced the company will change its name to Core & Main.
The company, previously a division of HD Supply, became a freestanding enterprise following its acquisition by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice in August.
“Core & Main is not a new company,” said Steve LeClair, CEO of Core & Main. “We’re a company with a long history of dependable expertise providing local customer service to contractors and communities across the nation,” said said Steve LeClair, CEO of Core & Main. “We supply the core infrastructure and fire protection materials needed to support community development and protect people and property. Our new name reflects our continued commitment to provide innovative solutions for new and existing customers in this space.”
Core & Main currently employs approximately 2,900 associates at 246 branch locations throughout the United States.
