This year's ASPE Technical Symposium, hosted by the American Society of Plumbing Engineers, is taking place on October 19-22 in Montreal, Quebec. The standard registration rate deadline is Aug. 31, so to avoid a late fee, attendees should go to 2017tech.aspe.org and register immediately. The Official Planning Guide is now available.
ASPE's Technical Symposium offers numerous professional development benefits for plumbing system designers and engineers. The 35-plus technical education sessions will provide insight into new design techniques that can be applied to current projects as well as provide a forum to interact with the industry's top experts on design and business strategies. At the Product Show, attendees will be able to get one-on-one face time with manufacturers and service providers to learn how to specify the latest products. Tours of the Jean R. Marcotte wastewater treatment facility, a full-day workshop on intermediate plumbing system design, special events for young professionals, and a party at the Grevin wax museum round out this year's offerings.
In addition, attendees who take full advantage of the Symposium will receive 1.2 continuing education units (CEUs) to use for their certification and license requirements.
The standard rate registration deadline is August 31, and the deadline to sign up for special events is September 4. Also, to obtain the special ASPE rate at the Hotel Bonaventure Montreal, attendees must reserve their room by September 20.
