The Times-News, based in Burlington, N.C., reports that two local plumbers, Leon Saul, a partner in Willie Saul and Son Plumbing Inc. in Elon, N.C. and Randy Kimrey, plumbing division and operations manager at Quality Mechanical Contractors in Burlington, N.C., helped start a news plumbers’ training program at Alamance Community College.
Students will have the chance to shadow professionals at work and get on-the-job training, according to an ACC media release, and meet suppliers, contactors and sales professionals in the plumbing industry.
