Orlando, Florida is a central hub for conventions and meetings. That’s a major reason why Affiliated Distributors (AD) is holding its North American meeting there Sept. 11-14. Hosted at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center, this meeting is due to be a big splash.
The first day of event is expected to draw crowds from all factions of the industry including PVF, plumbing, and HVAC. Tom Noon from Industry Insights will host an Industry Benchmarking Session. Noon is providing a synopsis of plumbing and PVF industry metrics based on data collected from the American Supply Association’s (ASA) Operating Performance report. Immediately after is a joint PHCP Divisional Board meeting consisting of all three boards (plumbing, PVF, and HVAC). After the Supplier Business meeting and reception, the welcome reception will commence.
The second and third days will consist of business meetings specifically for each group with member network meetings to follow. These meetings include:
The keynote speaker that Tuesday will be AD’s Chairman and CEO Bill Weisberg. On Wednesday, the lunch speaker, Dan Coughlin, will talk about the best ways to engage emerging leadership. The AD PHCP Advancing Leaders reception will take place that evening, too. This is a great opportunity for emerging leaders at member and supplier companies to gather and network while building relationships with their like-minded peers. That will be the final reception that evening. AD is passionate about bringing growth-oriented independent distributors and best-in-class suppliers together to outperform the market, and to stay ahead of the competition. This meeting is sure to be a whopper and a huge success.
The final day of meetings will give attendees ample chance to catch up on their conference booth appointments with members and suppliers.
