The Courier-Post reported earlier this month that Christian Lusardi was indicted over an incident that took place at an Atlantic City casino-hotel in January 2014.
Lusardi allegedly flushed 500 fake poker chips down a hotel toilet.
"When you gamble on a flush in high-stakes poker, you either win big or lose big. Lusardi lost big when his alleged scheme was foiled by a leaking sewer pipe," said Colonel Rick Fuentes, Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police.
