American Standard’s ActiClean self-cleaning toilet has earned a Gold 2017 A’ Design Award in the Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware category. Reflecting a top score in its category, this distinction is awarded to only the highest three percent of designs submitted to this international competition.

Entries in the A' Design Awards are peer reviewed and anonymously judged by a jury panel of academic press members and established professionals. The Gold A’ Design distinction designates a top-level product design that provides value, utility, functionality, aesthetics, efficiency, sustainability and performance.

ActiClean is the self-cleaning toilet that cleans itself and removes stains with the simple press of a button. The ActiClean toilet has also been recognized with the 2016 GREEN GOOD DESIGN Award in the Green Products category for its forward-thinking innovation and sustainability.
