The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) returns to Alaska for the first time since 2000 to hold its 88th annual Education and Business Conference, Sept. 24-28.
Keynoted by four-time Iditarod winner and cancer survivor Lance Mackey, and highlighted by the Association Technical Meeting Convention toward development of the 2018 editions of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC), IAPMO’s 2017 conference will provide opportunities for both education and business. The conference also features nine CEU-eligible education sessions, as well as the annual UPC/UMC workshops.
Members in good standing will be eligible to vote in the ANSI-accredited consensus development process via the final full membership gathering in the three-year code cycle for the development of the 2018 UPC and UMC.
Full-week and one-day registration packages are available, as well as a group rate on accommodations at the Hotel Captain Cook. The deadline for early registration is August 21.
Registration is available online .
