World and Main, LLC, announced several appointments to its executive team: Ned Finch appointed chief operating officer. Finch leads the company’s operations and integrated supply chain teams including: safety, plant operations, sourcing, replenishment and demand planning, logistics, and China office.
Finch spent 20 years at Jarden Corp./Newell Brands. During his tenure at Jarden, Finch held wide-ranging roles including as senior vice president, global supply chain and operations where he had responsibility for 15 distribution centers and 14 manufacturing centers and drove significant improvements in safety, quality and customer service.
Prior to joining Jarden in 1996, Finch played senior sourcing roles with Nine West Group. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Kansas and Indiana University Southeast.
Brenda Heffelfinger appointed chief marketing officer and head of product management. Heffelfinger leads the company’s marketing and product management teams. She has more than 25 years of business and marketing experience, most recently serving as a marketing executive for Newell Brands.
Prior to that, Heffelfinger served in various senior marketing roles at DuPont including global business and market executive for the Teflon, Krytox, and Nafion brands.
She started her career in marketing at Black & Decker where, among other roles, she was the product manager for DeWalt Power Tool Accessories. In addition, Heffelfinger held senior marketing roles at Campbell’s Soup Co., Avecia Inc. (formerly AstraZeneca Specialty Chemicals), Dorman Products and Danaher Corp.. She received her undergraduate degree from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and her Masters of Business Administration from Loyola University of Maryland.
Nick Pendrous appointed chief information officer and general manager, e-commerce. Pendrous leads the company’s technology team and strategic technology initiatives and is the general manager for the company’s e-commerce business. He recently served as chief operating officer for Dotcom Distribution, a warehouse and fulfillment service business for e-commerce retailers and manufacturers, where he oversaw warehouse automation, ERP implementations and infrastructure improvements.
Prior to Dotcom Distribution, Pendrous spent 15 years with Rust-Oleum/Zinsser, a group of specialty paint and decorating manufacturer, where he served as vice president of information technology and most recently as vice president of distribution and transportation.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Buckinghamshire College of Brunel University in London, England and his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in information technology from Kent State University.
