Fortiline Waterworks is now open in Helotes, Texas, replacing what was the Morrison Supply Co.’s waterworks branch. With this new branch, Fortiline now has 45 distribution branches in 12 states.

“We have plans to expand in a number of areas this calendar year, including further expansion into Texas beyond the opening of the Helotes branch,” said Mike Swedick, Fortiline president and CEO. “As the economy continues to grow, Fortiline is poised to take advantage of more opportunities to increase our market reach.”

Fortiline, the second-largest American-owned wholesale distributor of underground water, sewer and storm utility products in the United States, was acquired by MORSCO, a Fort Worth-based distributor of commercial and residential plumbing products, HVAC and PVF last October. The acquisition provides MORSCO’s vendors and customers with greater opportunities, specifically through Morrison Supply Company’s waterworks branches transitioning to Fortiline stores to leverage Fortiline’s vendor and customer relationships.
