Interline Brands announced a $100,000 donation and an expanded career track partnership with the local school district in its home base of Jacksonville, Fla.

Interline will give Construction Academy students at Asa Philip Randolph Career Academies, a part of Duval County Public Schools, access to state-of-the-art career and technical books, new equipment, presentations from industry professionals on product development and opportunities to visit Interline Brand’s annual trade show.

This is not the first time the distributor has helped out. Earlier in the year, Interline provided students with an airconditioning unit to practice repairs and techniques and sent several students to its industry trade show.

APR’s Construction Academy encompasses welding, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.
