Watermark Designs has been named a recipient in Interior Design magazine's 2016 “Best of Year” Awards. On December 1, 2016 over 900 people from the design community gathered at the state-of-the-art Frank Gehry designed IAC Building in New York City. Interior Design Editor-in-Chief Cindy Allen and Publisher Carol Cisco announced the award winners.
The Best of Year Awards celebrated its 11th Anniversary and had 2,016 entries, from 38 different countries, in 130 product and project categories. Watermark Designs' Elan Vital Kitchen faucet with telescopic spout was named the winner in the Kitchen Fittings category.
“Everyone at Watermark Designs is thrilled to have won this recognition,” said Avi Abel, president of Watermark Designs. “As a smaller manufacturer, still making all of our products right here in New York, it's so meaningful to know that our work is seen as innovative and worthy of this kind of peer acknowledgement. We couldn't be prouder today.”
The entire Elan Vital collection combines the utilitarian aesthetic of industrial design with the ability to customize faucets. Reminiscent of industrial steam pipes, the Elan Vital Telescopic Kitchen Faucet's spout extends or retracts as needed.
