The F.W. Webb Co. hosted the official groundbreaking on Aug. 30 of its nearly a million sq. ft. central distribution facility, gathering company officials, town and state officials to celebrate in North Londonderry, N.H., according to the Eagle-Tribune.
The CD will replace, and more than double, the size of the company's current 420,000-square-foot facility in Amherst, N.H. Once completed, the building will be one of largest of its kind in the state.
"Relocating central distribution to Londonderry from Amherst represents a major investment in our operations and a significant commitment to our customers and manufacturing partners," said Jeff Pope, president of the F.W. Webb. "This huge state-of-the-art facility will allow us to offer our customers even more and better products and reach further into the Northeast. We expect it will serve us indefinitely."
