Delany Products has introduced the TrueSense sensor-activated flush valve, available in hardwired and battery-powered versions. The True Sense will replace the Sensor-Flush valve in Delany’s line up.
The TrueSense looks are clean and streamlined to work with today’s minimalist restrooms. The wall plate is high polished chrome with no screw holes featuring two bold black lines for the sensor and a smaller black override button. A subtly etched Delany Products logo completes the look. Available immediately with the Delany Flushboy Ultra valve, the look of the TrueSense adds panache to new projects or renovations.
Behind the wall the improvements continue; the TrueSense will no longer employ either the old 110V or 24V power supply, but instead use a low voltage 9V system. This low voltage system means that after the electrician leads the wiring to the power supply, the plumber can easily and safely do the rest. This 9V system can also be offered in a variety of ways. It can be ordered as a plug-in transformer or a hardwired transformer version. It can also be ordered as a battery version, where the wall plate can tip up and a new battery easily installed into its battery pack. This version is particularly helpful for renovation installations where running wire leads to connect multiple valves together proves challenging. This low voltage 9V also has the advantage of being available in either 120V 60Hz or 220V 50Hz, making useable anywhere in the world.
The TrueSense comes equipped with a patent-pending standard electronic override button. This one touch override button will provide a full flush. The maintenance staff will no longer have to hold the button to get a full courtesy flush.
The TrueSense is available for all high efficiency water closets and urinals.
