Zurn Industries, LLC moved its Atlanta service center into a much larger facility – 60 percent bigger than its previous location – to support future growth and additional value-added process capabilities.
Located in Norcross, Ga., the new 161,000 sq. ft. facility reflects healthy growth in the Southeast region for Zurn. Like its predecessor, the new facility services both reps and customers, but upgraded amenities include a product showroom and a training facility.
“Zurn opened this new center to deliver superior service for both existing and future customers,” said Robert Skavroneck, director of national service centers for Zurn. “This includes an enhancement of what has been the industry-leading Will Call service offering in the Atlanta metropolitan area that allows Zurn to capitalize on this rapidly growing region.”
“The regional service center expansion is a key element to our One Zurn growth strategy. We will continually listen to our customers and improve our ability to deliver the broadest portfolio of superior engineered water solutions in the most timely and efficient manner possible,” said Craig Wehr, president, Zurn.
The company anticipates the new center will result in improved productivity and order lead times. The new facility became operational in February.
