DiversiTech Corp., announced April 8 that it has hired Nicole Kroner, CPA, as chief financial officer.
Kroner will be responsible for the overall finance and accounting functions for the company. This includes: financial forecasting and analysis; general ledger and financial reporting; shared services implementation; treasury; tax strategy and compliance; and integration strategy and support, among other responsibilities.
She will report to DiversiTech CEO Jim Prescott.
Kroner will also support the company’s core mission of helping its customers simplify the way they work through streamlined order processing, easy-to-meet shipping and product minimums, and greater access to a wider selection of products. This mission, coupled with best-in-class customer service, is designed to drive greater business-generating opportunities for DiversiTech’s customers. The company continues to develop new partnerships, expand existing ones and acquire relevant HVACR and electrical businesses to further its mission.
Kroner has more than 15 years of finance experience in a number of diverse industries. Before joining DiversiTech, she was the head of finance for Arysta LifeScience North America, a $400 million business unit of the global agrochemical solutions provider Arysta LifeScience.
Prior to Arysta, she served in various finance roles within the corporate headquarters of Talecris Biotherapetuics Inc., most recently serving as director of accounting and shared services. She also spent several years with Caterpillar Inc., in their building construction products division and in public accounting.
Kroner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Quincy University and a Master of Accounting from Western Illinois University. She will be relocating to the Atlanta area from Raleigh, N.C., later this spring with her husband and three daughters.
