The 2018 FTR, slated to go into production in the United States in mid-2017, is an all-new entry in the Class 6 medium-duty truck segment. Eight wheelbase configurations will accommodate bodies from 16 to 30 feet. A clean back-of-cab design allows more body applications step and wide-opening doors allow easy entry to a spacious interior with three-across seating and storage space behind the seats. Powered by a proven 5.2-liter, turbocharged, 4-cylinder diesel engine noted for high torque and good fuel economy.
