Winsupply Inc. has purchased majority ownership of K&J Supply, Pensacola, Fla., an industrial PVF distributor that serves the Gulf Coast.

The president is Mike O’Neill, who holds substantial equity in the company that will do business as K&J Winsupply.

“K&J Supply has been involved in the distribution of PVF and other industrial products since its inception in January 1994,” said Roland Gordon, president of Winsupply. “Their business culture is a great match with Winsupply.

K&J, which also operates a second location in Mobile, Ala., serves customers in power generation, pulp and paper, chemical, petro-chemical and shipyard industries.

The acquisition gives Winsupply an important footprint in industrial PVF in the Gulf Coast area. The company has four other Winsupply plumbing locations in the area serving commercial and residential contractors from Mobile to Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

K&J Winsupply has 30 employees total in the two locations. In addition to O’Neill, other key managers will be offered the opportunity to purchase equity in K&J Winsupply.
