Speakman announced that Tara Scanzillo has been appointed as director of sales. The promotion follows Scanzillo's three-year tenure as national accounts manager for Speakman.

Scanzillo brings nearly a decade of B2B sales experience in the building materials and home goods market. In this new role, Scanzillo will be responsible for setting Speakman's sales strategy, overseeing a team of 47 sales staff across the U.S., and delivering on the company's revenue goals in the hospitality, commercial, and direct-to-consumer markets that Speakman addresses. She will report directly to CEO Bob Knoll.

Scanzillo joined Speakman from Zurn Industries where she managed key national wholesale accounts such as HD Supply, Grainger, Winwholesale and Hajoca. Before that, she oversaw national accounts at building materials supplier Viega. Prior to that, Scanzillo held marketing roles at HD Supply. She is a graduate of Texas Christian University's MJ Neeley School of Business, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
